It is an impressionistic portrait of you and your favorite furry friend. This means the person will not look exactly like you, but it will have, say, your hair color, method of dressing, favorite activity---symbols of who you are that will allow you idenitify with the artwork. Your animal soul mates are more likely to look like themselves, especially if they are a particular breed.
